The Halo is one piece of hair on an invisible, adjustable wire. The wire rests just above the crown and your own hair falls over it, so what shows is hair and only hair.

The hair comes from a single donor and it is the same hair our own stylists install at the studio. It is not a synthetic blend and it has no silicone coating.

On the head it reads as fullness first and length second, a natural change rather than a dramatic one. The weight rides on the wire rather than on your own hair, so there is no pull at the root and none of the damage that constant pulling can cause. You feel the hair, not the piece.

There is no texture option to choose. Your daylight photos also let us confirm that the piece suits your own pattern before you order. Slight donor-to-donor differences in tone and pattern are what make a piece look grown rather than manufactured.
Care
  • Wash every 15–20 wears, not more often, with a sulfate-free shampoo.
  • Lay it flat to air-dry after washing.
  • Apply a heat protectant before any hot tool and keep the temperature at or below 350°F.
  • Take it off before sleeping.
  • Store it hanging or loosely coiled in its box. Never fold the wire.
  • Leave color to a stylist. It can be taken darker or adjusted in tone, but not lightened more than two levels (two steps on a stylist's shade scale).

The simplest piece we make, and the one that asks the least of your own hair. Here is what is in it and how it wears.

One piece, one wire

A single piece of hair carried on an invisible, adjustable wire that rests just above the crown.

No blend, no coating

No synthetic fibers blended in. No silicone coating on the strand.

Set once, on in seconds

Fit the wire to your head once and it keeps that setting. From then on it goes on in about 60 seconds.

One to two years

Unlike extensions that stay in full-time, it is not brushed, slept on or washed every day, so with proper care expect one to two years of wear.
