A clip-in set is only as good as the hair inside it and the way it is built. Bubbles & Angels has been installing extensions in East Islip, New York since 2011, and this set is made with the same priorities: real hair, sound construction and a natural result.

The hair is human, with no synthetic fibers blended in, so it moves the way your own hair moves. It takes heat the same way, so you can curl it or smooth it as you would your own.

Wearing it is simple. The clips are comfortable and hold securely, so the set stays put through a full day. With proper care, the hair stays tangle-free with minimal shedding.

Shade & texture
  • Natural Virgin Black — the raw donor shade, never dyed. Reads as a deep natural black to off-black.
  • Soft Brown — naturally lighter brown donor hair, never dyed.
  • Jet Black 1B — dyed black. This option has been color-processed to reach 1B.

The texture is Wavy: a slight to medium natural wave pattern, closer to hair that dried on its own than to a set curl.

The exact wave and tone vary slightly from one set to the next. That variation is natural to the hair and part of what lets it pass as your own.
Care
  • Wash gently in a downward direction with a sulfate-free shampoo, then follow with a hydrating mask.
  • Air-dry after washing.
  • Use a heat protectant every time you reach for a hot tool.
  • Brush from the ends up, working toward the clips.
  • Never sleep in clip-ins.
  • Store flat or hanging in its box between wears.

Inside the Clip-In Set

Four things decide how a clip-in set wears: how the pieces are built, which shades are raw and which is dyed, how it goes in and out, and how long it lasts.

The pieces

Each set runs 2–8 pieces. The full-size pieces measure 4" to 10" wide, and the larger sets add 2.5"–3" mini front pieces.

Two raw shades, one dyed

Natural Virgin Black and Soft Brown are raw and unprocessed, which is why a stylist can color them. Jet Black 1B is the exception: that hair has been dyed to a jet black shade.

In and out daily

Clip it in yourself in the morning and take it out before bed. There is no appointment to book and nothing left attached to your own hair between wears.

Years of wear

With proper maintenance a set lasts 3–5 years or more. Store it flat or hanging in its box between wears.
